10 yrs, 8 revisional surgeries, and daily suffering, I still wait for any sign of my monetary relief (aka my ghost payment). My question today… has anyone been successful in receiving some sort of social security benefit due to this TVM nightmare? Is this even a possibility? Being only 47 years old, it deeply saddens me how this thought constantly crosses my mind at this point.
Social security is based on your work history so I wouldn’t look there. I think you mean Medicaid or a disability payment. That is usually pitiful amount. Trials or a settlement is the only way to ensure you will receive the monies you need for your treatment or disability going forward. Are you hernia or transvaginal? Are you represented?
