Hello Group, Has anyone had issues with this mesh. Mine was Covidien Parietex Progrip LOT: SMG00336 REF: TEM1208
Lawsuits are being filed, but there is no consolidation into an MDL yet. Covidien is a subsidiary of Medtronic. Here is one complaint filed last year.
Serious side effects from parietex progrip mesh since Sept 2020. No Canadian surgeon or physician will treat me except for recommending pain therapy. I have contacted a US Dr who understands & will remove it. However I’m not v’d & cannot enter the country. Cost of surgery could be $20G with travel, insurance etc added. I’m in excruciating pain & if I did find a dr in Canada the wait time would be impossible.
